Terms & Conditions

When booking is confirmed by the payment of a deposit you are entering into a contract. Please read the following conditions of the let carefully. If you are unclear on any points please ask for an explanation.

In order that your accommodation can be properly prepared, it is important that you arrive at or after the designated arrival time. This is normally from 3pm on the day of arrival. On leaving there is a 10am departure time. Please make contact with ourselves to arrange key collection for the property.

Bed linen is included in all properties. Towels are not supplied. For 14 night holidays or more, clean bed linen will be offered, however please note a full clean is not applicable.

Kirklandholm Farm Self Catering cottages are NON SMOKING and unfortunately PETS are NOT WELCOME due to it being a working farm.

Wi Fi is provided in all the cottages however, we ask that you use the facility for basic internet use of checking emails, forecasts, and checking what’s on locally but speed may vary and can not be guaranteed.

On departure we ask that you leave the property in the same tidy condition as you found it. If you are unable to do so we will require a payment of £40 towards the cost of cleaning.

Cancellation Policy

More than 4 weeks in advance – loss of deposit. If paid in full up front, you will be refunded 70% of the total.

Less than 4 weeks in advance – if a new tenant is found, loss of deposit only (If paid in full up front, you will be refunded 70% of the total), otherwise the whole rental fee is due (no refund if paid in full up front).

Re-letting at short notice, or in the off-season can be difficult, so Cancellation Insurance is recommended. We recommend www.guestfirst.co.uk.

If for any reason beyond our control, the accommodation is not available to you on the dates booked, we will take steps to find you similar alternative accommodation. If suitable accommodation is not available, then all sums paid by you will be refunded and we will have no further liability to you or any other party.

The properties let as Kirklandholm Farm Self Catering are to be used for the purpose if a holiday let to which Section 12(2) and paragraph 8 of Schedule 4 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988 apply. The booking agreement confers a right to occupy the accommodation for the agreed period only.
